Theft from vehicle incidents

Dear Resident, 

During the evening of Tuesday 2nd June and into the early hours of Wednesday 3rd June, there has been a series of incidents whereby offenders have been able to gain access to vehicles and subsequently stolen personal belongings from the vehicles.
Both incidents occurred in the Silverdale area and enquiries are ongoing to identify and apprehend the offenders. 

Between the hours of 11pm and 4am, a group of offenders have targeted vehicles on Sutton Avenue and Silverdale Sidings. We are requesting that residents review any CCTV footage or doorbell camera footage for activations during this time period. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 235 of 03/06/2026.

Please remove all valuable items from your vehicle and ensure it is locked and secured.
